JoLoCity Standard License

This license explains what you can and can't do with a JoLoCity source-code template after you buy it. It's written in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, email info@jolocity.com before you buy.
Who this is between
- Licensor: JoLoCity ("we", "us").
- Licensee: the person or business that bought the template ("you").
The "template" means the source code, documentation, design assets and any other files included in the download you purchased.
1. What you get
When you buy a template, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it under the terms below. The license is per buyer: it belongs to the person or business that made the purchase.
2. Single use: one end product or business
You may use the template to build and run one end product for one business. That business can be your own or one client's.
Running the template on more than one server, or keeping development, staging and production copies of it, is fine as long as they all serve that same single end product.
Want to use it for another business or another end product? Buy another license, or email us about a multi-use arrangement.
3. You may modify it freely
You may change, extend, rebrand, restyle and rewrite any part of the template to suit that end product. There is no limit on how much you modify it.
4. What you may not do
You may not:
- Resell the template or its source code, whether modified or not.
- Redistribute or share the source code or the template itself with anyone outside the business it's licensed for, including by posting it in a public repository or file-sharing site.
- Sublicense the template or grant anyone else rights to it.
- Include it in another template, starter kit, boilerplate, theme or similar product that you sell or give away, whether on its own or bundled with other code.
- Transfer this license to another person or business.
Contractors or employees working on your end product may access the source code to do that work, as long as they don't keep or reuse it for anything else.
Your end product's users may use the running application (for example through a web browser). That's not redistribution, as long as they don't receive the template's source code.
5. What you own
You own your own modifications, additions, data and content. We own the original template and keep all rights in it that this license doesn't expressly give you.
6. Updates
You get lifetime updates to the template you purchased, delivered through the store where you bought it. Updates are covered by this same license.
7. Support
Email info@jolocity.com with setup questions or bug reports. Full documentation is included in the download.
8. No warranty
The template is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. You're responsible for how you deploy, secure, configure and operate it, and for backing up your data.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, JoLoCity is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the template. In any case, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the template.
10. Ending the license
If you break these terms, this license ends automatically and you must stop using and delete the template. Sections 5, 8 and 9 continue to apply after the license ends.
